Class B Fires

Downeast Energy will be holding a Class B course, complete with certificate, for us over the next couple of weeks. This is a 3-part class. The dates are August 3rd, 10th, and 15th. The first two dates are classroom times at our normal training time, 7pm, with the 3rd date being a Saturday, with hands-on, live fire training starting at 8am. For those who have not had any experience with Class B fire, this will be an eye-opening experience. For others who have dealt with Class B fire, this should be a great refresher. Our respected instructor will be Downeast Energy's Don Houd.

Extrication Training

We will be having extrication training this Sunday, August 2nd, 2009, at 7pm, at Central Station. This will be an informal training to allow for hands-on tool time, practice of known and new techniques. This will also be for Angela Schwartz, photographer, to get some firefighter action shots. Your esteemed instructors will be Capt. Joy and Capt. St.Pierre. Any questions, please contact either Captain. Hope to see everyone there.
