Mutual aid with Poland Fire and Rescue

On Monday September 28th at 7pm A crew from Poland Fire and Rescue will be joining us to learn our Squad 1, so in the event they are covering our town and need to roll Squad 1 they will be familiar with it and its equipment.

In return, on Wednesday September 30th we will go to Poland's station and get familiarized with Poland's rescue 1, which is a very large and impressive heavy rescue. If you can make it, I would highly recommend checking this very equipped truck out.

Extrication Training on Wednesday

Training for Wednesday September 23rd will be A join training with fire and rescue. The topic will be patient packaging and disentanglement. This will be a great opportunity to hone our skills as a department, build on our communication skills and work together better as a complete team.

Training will start at 7pm at the station

Barbecue

Monday night we will be forgoing the truck checks & in place of it having a little barbecue instead. We will still be doing the radio checks with the monthly meeting to follow. Should be a great time hope to see you all there.

General Work Detail

This Monday, Sept. 14th, we will be inventorying the trucks, getting things ready for fire prevention and getting the new barbecue pits ready for use along with some other miscellaneous projects. All help would be appreciated.
